About Beth Nakamura
Beth Nakamura is owner of Kilohana Events and Travel, a full-service travel advising and events business specializing custom, curated itineraries for the discerning traveler.
​
She is excited to collaborate with travelers on their adventures, wherever they want to go, and to help companies take their gatherings to the next level. She brings her continued passion for meetings and events and leverages 20-plus years of business development and relationship management to her work.
​
Beth was born and raised in Hawai'i, is Native Hawaiian, and began traveling with her grandparents at the age of nine. They instilled a love of travel, curiosity about the world, and respect for other cultures and people. Her first trip with them was a two-week riverboat cruise from New Orleans, Louisiana, to St. Louis, Missouri, with stops and excursions to Civil War locations. Beth currently resides in San Antonio, and has lived in and worked for universities in Boston, New York City, Phoenix, and Washington D.C.

She also enjoys traveling to watch live sports events and has attended the MLB World Series and All-Star Week, NBA Finals, WNBA Finals, U.S. Open (tennis), LPGA Drive On Championship, WM Phoenix Open, NASCAR Cup Series Championship, F1 at Circuit of the Americas, NCAA Men's Final Four, and the NCAA Women's Final Four. She is traveling to Paris this summer for her first Summer Olympic Games.
