Instead of a cash bonus, top performers earn an all-expenses-paid trip — often to a resort or international destination. It's one of the most effective tools companies use to motivate teams and boost retention, and studies consistently show it outperforms cash rewards." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "How is incentive travel different from a corporate retreat?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "A corporate retreat is about team-building, strategy, or training — it's work-focused with some social elements. Incentive travel is a reward — it's experience-focused, designed to feel special and celebratory. Think beachside dinners, curated excursions, and VIP experiences rather than conference rooms and breakout sessions." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "What size companies do you work with for incentive travel?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Kilohana Events and Travel specializes in small to mid-size companies — typically groups of 10 to 75 people. The focus is hands-on, high-touch programs where every detail is tailored and every attendee feels like a VIP." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "What does full-service incentive travel planning include?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Everything — site research and selection, hotel room blocks and meeting space, air travel and ground transfers, group activities and excursions, dining from group dinners to reservation lists, on-site coordination during the event, and all the logistics in between." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "How much does incentive travel planning cost?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Planning fees vary based on group size, trip complexity, and destination. For larger groups or peak-season destinations, even earlier is better." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "We've never done incentive travel before. Kilohana helps determine whether it makes sense for your goals, what budget to expect, and what kind of trip would work best for your team. There's no commitment for the initial conversation." } }, { "@type": "Question", "name": "Are you based in Washington, DC?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Yes.
