Travel Design Policies and Fees

The travel design fee honors my time to research and correspond with our preferred suppliers; collect, review and confirm proposals; present options and recommendations; manage your travel logistics; and provide support before, during and after your travels.

Travel Design Fee Policy and Structure

  • During our initial conversation, we will discuss the scope of your travel plans. I will use this to determine the final design fee.

  • To initiate work on your trip, we require a non-refundable per-person deposit of $75.

  • The total design fee will be calculated as a percentage of the traveler's total trip spend.

Air/Rail Ticketing Fees

  • $50 per short-haul/within the United States ticket

  • $75 per international/long-haul (multiple time zone jump) ticket

  • If a second ticket is required within the same travel itinerary (for example: traveling out on one airline and back on another), then an additional $10 per ticket will apply.

Change Policy and Fees

  • Once a travel quote is provided to the client, a maximum of three (3) itinerary changes can be made.

  • If additional changes are requested, including adding or removing travelers to the booking, then an additional fee of $50 per request will be charged, plus applicable supplier fees.

  • If the client's information is not provided to the supplier by the supplier's deadline, then the change fee will be charged to the client.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

If you decide to cancel our relationship or terminate my services, you will be charged 10% of the total trip plus applicable supplier fees.
